It was fairly clean and the staff were helpful and amicable, beds were comfortable. The food selection was superb. Exceptionally nice and lovely location in the "huertas" area made it easy to get to key attractions. Local fast food option Sparky's Grill was 5 minutes walk away. I liked the hotel!

It was good to have the flexibility of a small apartment, where we could have our own food if we wished. It was also great for our dog.
The chimney was a bit smoky.

A very peaceful hotel with helpful staff. It is exactly what is says - a rural retreat in a beautiful area. The rooms are rustic but adequate although more comfortable chairs in the room would. Have been welcome. The restaurant was good value and served decent food. Good wifi internet in the room. Some visitors have noted that the seperate 'cabins' were looking a bit tired but during our stay workmen were busy sprucing them up. A visit to La Gruta de las Maravillas in the town is a must! Also the mine train trip at Minas del Rio Tinto.
The only negative points of note are that we didn't find it particularly good value for money, the following two night we stayed in a nearby 4* Parador in in a 15thC Palace for less money (admitedly it was a special offer but open to anyone)

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel nestled among the trees. The peaceful ambiance away from the crowds was exactly what I needed. The hotel's traditional mansion with its high ceilings and shaded seating area provided a delightful atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the Olympic-sized pool, which was never crowded, allowing for a tranquil swimming experience. The pool restaurant also served delicious food, perfect for a relaxing lunch or evening meal. The location near the huertas for a peaceful walk was an added bonus.
All aspects of my stay were ok.
